Well, I thought this day would never come- but here we are! After almost 50 books illustrated for talented authors from around the country & globe, I have finally created, produced, & now published my FIRST ORIGINAL STORY! I am super excited to share this news with you because every single portrait of someone's beloved animal friend helped me get here - so THANK YOU. I am so grateful for your support, whether its been a few months, a few years, or even a decade!

Whether you've been a Bark Point Studio Subscriber for a few months, a few years, or even a decade, I am so excited to let you in on whats been going on behind the scenes here at Bark Point Studio! As many of you know, I've always wanted to build an animal sanctuary - and have found endless amounts of inspiration from many of you:
Some of you may volunteer for local rescues, or have opened your homes to animals in need by fostering. Some of you have your own 501(c)3 Animal Rescue and have saved countless animals over your lifetime - thank you. Creating custom art for animal people like you has given my life so much purpose. It brings me so much joy to celebrate a new adoption with a new portrait, or brings me peace in knowing a rainbow bridge illustration can offer you comfort in times of loss.
So today I want to tell you about Peace Pointe! A dream that is finally becoming a reality. We received our 501(c)3 status on Earth Day last month, and can now start the really hard work of rescue. The thing about Peace Pointe is, I see it as a community hub, to hopefully bring together animal and nature lovers. Whether you're already involved in animal rescue, are a dogmom or dogdad already, garden for wildlife in your backyard, pick up litter or advocate for animal welfare in your free time, or adhere to a vegan lifestyle - we are all in this together. The Pointe is Peace! If you're interested in partnering with us, please reach out because we want to showcase other 501(c)3 & organizations whenever we can. A few words from me in video format:
Now, that all said, Bark Point Studio is NOT going anywhere. I hope to continue to celebrate your growing families, or memorialize your companions when they've left for the rainbow bridge... HOWEVER, these past few years have shown me that not everyone can afford the luxury of custom art for their animal companions, and I hate to think about that. When I started Bark Point Studio in 2012, my art was $20 per portrait and $10 for each additional animal -!
To make things more affordable, or more fun for those of your who support my work on behalf of existing 501(c)3's, I now offer a MONTHLY SUBSCRIPTION. For $5.50/month, you will receive a SKETCH at your 6 month mark, and a FULL COLOR ILLUSTRATION at your 1 year mark. Both of these rewards can be substituted for a GIFT CARD to your local favorite animal rescue or shelter. This monthly subscription amounts to some pretty great savings, and enables me to continue my work on my original projects - Last Instinct, Dogmom Chronicles, The Devil Moved to The Highlands - and now also allows me to invest time into Peace Pointe as well.
